Pickles, Preserves & Mustards

All our pickles, preserves and mustards are produced by hand in small batches to ensure freshness and quality control.  All spices used are Non-GMO, non irradiated and organic wherever possible. This means that the colour and texture may vary from batch to batch depending on the raw ingredients available when producing.

Our seasonal preserves and pickles are made with organic produce which we purchase from small scale farmers in the Western Cape when they have an oversupply of produce that they cannot move. Farming is hard work and as farmers cannot afford to waste produce, we don't believe in unnecessary food waste either.  Our aim is twofold, to support the farmers as well as making nutrient rich produce available out of season.

No fillers, colourants, free flow agents or preservatives are used. Most of our seasonal preserves and pickles are made with organic produce and us such, clumping may occur over time.  All products packaged in glass jars.
